My goal is to capture you and your baby in a warm, natural, and timeless way so you can cherish your photos together and forever.
For maternity and outdoor sessions, I am always looking for golden hour light, texture, color, and classic/rustic/vintage features that compliment your vibe and style. Sacramento has so many beautiful locations in the surrounding areas, from golden fields with majestic oaks, to rustic barns, lake views, flower gardens, historic buildings, and more. I will help you choose the perfect location and time for your next photo session.
Newborn sessions are held in the comfort of your own home. I will bring all in need to capture warm, and timeless photos baby and family, including; blankets, wraps, lights, backdrops, props, and outfit options for baby, mom and even big sisters. My goal for these sessions is to capture the connection of the family as well as the adorable and fleeting features of your brand new baby.
There are many aspects that go into a successful photoshoot. One of those aspects is outfits. I believe outfits can play such an important part in the overall look of the images. When you choose outfits you love and feel good in, you will love the images even more. It allows your family to be in the moment instead of worrying about how they look. In addition to my Client Closet which is available to all my clients, I have an online styling tool, which is an interactive & shoppable styling resource that shows you hundreds of photo worthy tops, bottoms, dresses, and accessories pulled in from well known retailers to give clients, like you, an easier way to figure out what the wear.

Who is this for?
Maternity sessions are designed to celebrate you and the miracle of the new life you are growing within you. Making you as feel beautiful and special as you are is my number one goal.
With that said...sessions can be entirely focused on you and baby, or can allow for family to join in (up to 6 people)...However the focus of the session will still be on connections of mother and family to the baby.
What do we need?
Each maternity session has time for, but does not have to include, up to 2-3 dresses or outfits.
Planning ahead with some awesome styling is a key factor in getting those album worthy shots...that's why I have teamed up with Style and Select to give you an easy way to shop for and coordinate photo worthy attire.
Style and Select is a fun and easy way to make sure you look and feel amazing for your maternity session.
BONUS
As a way of growing my client closet, I offer a "dress for the session" option where, for select dresses, I will discount your session, up to $225, in exchange for your purchase a wish list dress for my client closet.
Why
Pregnancy is a milestone that quite literally changes our world. For most of us, we will experience pregnancy less than a handful of times...for some it is the culmination or years of trial and longing. Celebrating the miracle of life and your growing family could quite possibly be the most important why I can think of.
When
I typically like to hold the sessions between 28-34 weeks to show off that beautiful baby bump.
Nearly all my outdoor sessions take place during what is called the "Golden Hour", which is the hour so before sunset. Reason...that is when the light is softest and most flattering.
It is recommended to reserve your session date in your first trimester.
