Seniors are so fantastic! Whether they are outgoing and bold or a little shy and reserved, they usually know just who they are and only require subtle posing suggestions to let their true selves shine.
I am inspired by golden hour light, texture, color, and classic, rustic, vintage, and architectural features. Sacramento has so many beautiful locations in the surrounding areas, from golden fields with majestic oaks, to rustic barns, lake and river views, flower gardens, historic buildings, and more. I will help you choose the perfect location and time for your senior photo session.
There are many aspects that go into a successful photoshoot. One of those aspects is outfits. I believe outfits can play such an important part in the overall look of the images. When you choose outfits you love and feel good in, you will love the images even more. My online styling tool is an interactive & shoppable styling resource that shows you hundreds of photo worthy tops, bottoms, dresses, and accessories pulled in from well known retailers to give clients, like you, another way to figure out what to wear and allows your teen show their personal style and gives them the freedom to just be in the moment. Senior sessions allow time for 2-3 outfits changes.
As a teen and senior photographer I offer creative photography sessions that are designed to show each teen’s individual style. I want to help capture the moments you treasure and create artwork/albums your family will enjoy for years.
Located in Roseville, California, I offer child and family photography for clients in the greater Sacramento area including, Auburn, Loomis, Newcastle, Lincoln, Marysville, Yuba City, Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Folsom, Orangevale, Fair Oaks, El Dorado Hills, Sacramento, Elk Grove, Lodi, Winters, Woodland, Davis, and beyond.

Teen and senior sessions are designed for one person at a time, to allow me to focus entirely on capturing your unique personality during this incredible stage in your lives.
Pets are welcome...but, to include friends, family, or significant others, please choose a group/family session.
What do we need?
Planning ahead with some awesome styling is going to be a key factor in getting those share worthy shots...that's why I have teamed up with Style and Select to give you another easy way to coordinate and shop for photo worthy attire.

What else? You are encouraged, to bring items that are significant to you, or define this time in your life. Things like uniforms, sports gear, hobbies, or special interests are what make you unique and I look forward to incorporating those into your photos
Where
I have a variety of locations that I like to use, all over the greater Sacramento area...from fields of flowers to urban buildings, I will discuss with you your vision for the session and offer a few location suggestions.
Can we do more than one location? Yes! If you can't choose, or want to try 2 or more locations/seasons, we can do that! This momentous time only happens once in a lifetime so, in my opinion...booking multiple sessions to be able to get galleries with different looks is always a fantastic idea...Book them at the same time to receive $50 off each additional session date.
Most location options are relatively close, but am also up for travel if you have something special in mind.

Why
Senior year...the last year of grade school, the last year of childhood, possibly the last year of living at home with parents. Sigh...thinking of how much will change with this milestone blows me away.
I'm not crying...you're crying<3
But really, photos from this transitional time from childhood to adulthood are going to be treasured by your whole family, for years to come. I mean, who doesn't like to look back and see/show how cool and fun we all were at this special age?
When
I hold senior sessions all year long, but spring and fall are the most sought after times of year, so booking ahead is definitely recommended.
Nearly all of my sessions take place during what is called the "Golden Hour", which is the hour so before sunset. Simple reason...that is when the light is the softest and most flattering.
Booking 6-8 weeks is advance is recommended, but not required.
